Hello UN members, Evanescent,. back with another exciting article for you! This article today is about whether low rank - Agent, Security & Trainer and High ranks - OPR+ communicate enough. This is a big topic due to communication being needed for the agency to function and grow using everyone's views and opinions. Without communication UN will be at a stand still not getting the benefits we all deserve for working so hard.
I decided to asked some low ranks the question stated above to see what they though, with them being a low rank it is also interesting to see what they think about the high ranks and their communication to them.
The first UN member I chose to talk to was TuffaMiku, who is currently an agent in UN for 5 weeks. This is what she had to say about the communication from a higher rank.
It's nice to see that TuffaMiku thinks that the communication between the ranks is enough, enabling the community to strive together and accomplish findings for the UN. I continued my search for yet another low rank. I spoke to HippyQueen, another Agent at UN for a total of 2 days, this is what HippyQueen said about the communication in UN base.
To hear this made me feel a little disappointed that a new agent who has been a member for 2 days though this about UN's communication. Having been at the agency for 2 days on the other hand is not a long time to experience what it's like in UN base, maybe HippyQueen will continue on at UN and see what we all here are friendly and want everyone to have fun.
Next up is .Tiing., she is currently one of UN's OOA's, being a high rank I wanted to see if .Tiing. though that high ranks like herself talk to lower ranks enough. This is what .Tiing. had to say about the topic.
I have to agree with what .Tiing. says, there will always be areas of improvements but there is always some form of communication happening in UN base for all ranks to enjoy and join in with.
Finally I asked LLIVIAA who is also an OOA. She thought this about the communication between the ranks.
I like this answer. It's not about what ranks we are, everyone should be able to communicate to whoever, and bringing in those communications will help others whether them being high or low rank.

It's important to recognise when people are struggling and give them some help. It takes 5 minutes to have a chat with someone to make sure they're getting on okay. Try to say hello to them, introduce ourselves, learn their name... You don't have to be best buddies, bffs, but do enough to make them feel welcome and want to stick around.
Give them some coaching if you think they need it. For example if they're concerned about recruiting or training have them recruit/train you and give them pointers. Or have them watch you to see how you do it.
This applies to Agents and new transferees, but anyone in general :)
This is true, i struggle with making new friends , so would love it if people made convosation with me. Sometimes i worry if i am pestering people or if they dont want to talk to me as im norm or whatever. One thing i do like is that i dont feel that lower ranks are spoken to differently to higher ranks which is good :)
I agree with both of you, it only takes one communication to one person to see if they need help or if they're doing alright. To be honest, that could also mean the world to them! And it is hard making friends at time, you don't know how they're going to be with you etc etc. Thank you both for commenting!
I think most of the time both parties get along pretty well. Sometimes, LR's and HR's argue about what's right or wrong or mistreat one another. But I've worked at many agencies and I think this is an agency where you can freely express your emotions and opinions without being judged or being told to go back to work. A very limited amount of agencies offer that experience and I'm glad that I chose to join a fun agency!
